Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep
As the body of Christ, let us learn to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep.
The verse in Romans 12:15 is a yardstick to examine our hearts in our relationship with people.
Oftentimes, we can weep with those who are mourning, but can we truly rejoice and celebrate another’s success? Can we be glad and delighted over another’s abundance?
Jesus is our perfect example. He is compassionate; He wept over Lazarus’ death and raised him from the dead. He attended the wedding at Cana, and when the banquet ran out of wine, He turned water into wine, and it was the best wine.
Jesus understands us, and He is able to comfort us in everything that we are going through.
