Sermon Recap

The apostles, disciples, and the women, about 120 of them obeyed the command of Jesus and gathered in the upper room at Jerusalem and prayed. They were in one accord.
On the day of Pentecost, there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were gathered. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Their confusion and discouragement were blown away as the fire, and the anointing of God came upon them.
The best thing for us to do when we don’t know what to do is to learn to wait upon the Lord because when we are confused or anxious, we tend to do the wrong thing.
We need to be still and know that He is God and cast everything aside. Wait upon the Lord in prayer and with supplication and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
