LORD, I thank you for my family and present them to You.
LORD, I pray that no weapon formed against my family will prosper.1 No plot or scheme from the enemy will divide us or cause dissension in our house. Let Your love which covers over a multitude of sins2, enable us to honor one another3 so that the enemy does not have any foothold over us. Help us preserve a good loving relationship and guard our home that we may have a peaceful atmosphere at home. Let Your Glory fill us to be a good testimony to Your Name so that unsaved family members will come to know and receive You as their personal Lord and Savior.
LORD, I pray for Your protection upon my family from all sicknesses, accidents, and calamities. Where there is sickness, send forth Your Word and let Your healing power bring healing to the body4. Where there are anxieties leading to depression, let Your perfect love cast out all fears5, and Your peace that surpasses understanding guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus,6
LORD, deliver us from the evil one. Thank You for commanding Your angels to charge over us and to lift us up so that we do not strike our foot against a stone7. Thank You for Your firewall hedge of protection8 that surrounds my family. I plead for the Precious Blood of Jesus to cover us, cleanse, and sanctify us. We put on Your full armor so that we can take our stand against the enemy’s schemes.9 I commit my family to You, Jehovah Sabaoth, to keep us safe from any form of evil and deception. Thank You that we who put our trust in You will not be put to shame.10
In Jesus’ Name, I pray and ask. Amen.

Ephesians 6:12-13, 18 tells us why we always need to be covered in prayer. We must learn that the unseen spiritual warfare that is coming against us must be fought with the weapons of God; faith and prayer.
A prayer cover is a spiritual shield that you raise that surrounds yourself or the person you are praying for. When you pray a prayer cover over someone, you are, in effect, wrapping them up in prayer. By praying and confessing according to God’s truth in His Word, which is powerful, living, and greater than any troubles known to men, you can withstand the hard shakings that are coming to the world.
When you are covered in the prayer of faith, you produce the right environment for God to work His wonders; as God’s light shines forth, the darkness of this world is pierced. As soon as you start to see God’s reality, miracles will begin to take place.
